Ok, I am sure you are getting flooded with suggestions, but I can’t help it. I do love how you are adding baby whimsy rather than just recreating (like the nemo fish in the tub rather than a shark) and I love that you caught him making just the right expressions. Can’t imagine how many shots you take for that!
So I know you are in the UK, and some of these suggestions may not be classics there. But you now have a USA following thanks to Yahoo. Thanks for such entertaining photos. They are well underway to becoming classics in their own right. (Seriously – You could get onto the website Zazzle and start selling them on t-shirts and mugs and greeting cards!)
ET – behind the piles of toys. (pointing?) That or in a bike basket under a blanket.
When he is slightly older, Easy Rider (on a trike).
I’m sure you already have the Exorcist. (projectile vomit)
Godzilla and King Kong are of course options.
On his birthday, you can recreate the final scene from the classic “16 Candles”. (now that you have American fans you need a John Hughes film…)
Luke Skywalker in his orange jumpsuit filmed closeup in his x-wing.
Dirty Dancing – he’s in black, lifting an animal over his head (either in the dining room scene or in the lake, which is the tub)
Sitting on a bench in white, with a little suitcase and a box of chocolates (Forrest Gump)
The Matrix – holding a spoon for “There is no spoon”
The absolute classic “Office Space” He’s surrounded by animal friends hitting some (obsolete and already broken) computer equipment with a toy baseball bat. Or his speak and Spell or some kid computery toy.
Brad Pitt in “Seven” holding a box with a toy’s head. (hey, you already did a head in the Godfather, but this is different enough)
If you want just plain wrong, the apple pie scene from American pie. (Of course just before or just after)
Pulp fiction, Harry Potter, and Top Gun.
And for a Christmas special, anything James Bond. Yeah that’s a British thing, but Americans will love it.
Ha ha, thanks for the suggestions, they’re great. A few that we’ve got on the list, but a couple of great ones we hadn’t thought of. I did try to do that very ET shot, but haven’t managed to pull it off … yet. And there is an awesome Christmas special on the way…
